Weekly wrap up #7

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

This week on the blog:

Sooo I have a new addiction. Said addiction has stolen a bit of my time. Apparently I have now become an online gamer. It’s something hubby and I can do together so am more than happy to give up some time to it.

It’s a really cool game where you get to kill zombies while building up a base – and it comes with the included fun of getting to make friends with some fellow players.

Audio book reviews done:

Shelter in Place by Nora Roberts

Tour Stop: Fractured by J.A. Wynters

Release day Blitz: Caroline Beach by by Cecy Robson

What I finished this week…

Like I said was a bit of a slow week… I finished listening to Shelter in Place, and finished reading Bad Dogs and Drag Queens. The Tour stop is scheduled for tomorrow so you should be able to check out the review then…

What I am reading at the moment:

H.A.V.O.C. at Prescott High (The Havoc Boys #1) by C.M. Stunich.

Next up is Stacking the Shelves @ Tynga’s Book reviews & Reading Reality

I purely downloaded the books above off KU because of the covers. I am not even 100% sure what they are about but the covers are TO DIE FOR.

How it works:

  1. Post an answer to the weekly question
  2. Link up to the post on the lovely Ramblings of a coffee addicted writer
  3. Visit a few other posts – make some new friends, follow a few folks and maybe have some visitors fly by your very own blog.

This week’s question:

Mostly use the google calender app… and then I tend to get a post scheduled as soon as I receive the email from a review tour company and as soon as I get the book read I add the review. I try as much as possible to get my reviews out the way as soon as possible to avoid anything falling through the cracks.

How do you keep track of your review books?

  1. I LOVE when I can game with my fiance. No other date night can achieve the same level of glee for me! I’m so excited for you both!

I just might have the most haphazard method of keeping track of/scheduling my reviews. Every time I start a book I want to review, I just start a post draft on my blog. I used the draft as a pseudo bullet journal and just type down any thoughts I have while reading in hopes that I can turn those thoughts into a cohesive post in a timely manner. It’s odd, but it works for me. I am experimenting as I start doing my own Sunday Posts to schedule out my upcoming posts for the week. We shall see how well that works…
