Review: Fail to Fight by Maci Dillon

Fail to Fight

(Unrequited Love #1)

by Maci Dillon

Two hearts collide after ten long years. She wants closure. He seeks redemption.

Could one night together change everything they thought they knew?

A powerful story of unrequited love.

Don’t condemn the man I love. His actions were inexcusable but I forgave him a lifetime ago. What I need to know is why he left me scared and broken, without a fight. With no goodbye. No closure.

I’m the weak bastard who walked away. The one who spent the last decade looking back, filled with regret. With my life at a crossroad, I must redeem myself before I can move on. One thing I never expected was to want a second chance. And this time, I won’t leave her without a fight.

Their first love ended in betrayal, plagued by secrets and lies. In this steamy, second chance romance, is it possible for Chloe and Will to find their forever?

Author Note: This book was originally published as a novella in 2016. It has been extended to full length novel with a new HEA.

Well hello there new author…

This is my first book by Maci Dillon and I am very happy to tell you that I was not disappointed.

Why did I love this book?

#epicendingallert – I was shook. I need more. Really bloody brilliant though.

I also absolutely love Chloe. She was a really easy character to fall in love with and I really wished for her happy ending from the beginning.

Added to that I really enjoyed having a the book from a dual point of view. I just wasn’t completely sure on Will as a character but having the story from his perspective helped sell him to me.

This was a all in one read that I devoured from beginning to end. Just be warned about the ending though.

A great debut novel for sure!
