Rise of the Alpha
Six years after the death of her parents, Dahlia Miller is rebuilding her life under the guidance of her loving grandparents.
Just as she believes her path is emerging into light, new responsibilities are thrust upon her which might mean the destruction of all she’s worked for.
When a malevolent organization kidnaps her grandmother in an attempt to weaken her, Dahlia must act decisively in order to save what remains of her family. As she prepares to battle an organization bent on the extermination of her kind, she must prove her place as Alpha – and make a heartbreaking choice between her childhood crush and her newly found mate.
Well well well.
This was the easiest 4 stars given. This is Helen Dhanoya’s debut book and what a book it is.
She shows such amazing promise and I cannot wait to see where she goes from here.
This story was filled with so much suspense that I was glued to the pages from the word go. Add in that you have a female alpha trying to prove her worth to her pack, her family and herself you cannot help but keep reading into the early morning hours.
Dahlia is a really strong and likeable character. I enjoyed reading her and seeing where her story went. Nathan is pretty awesome too and very supportive of Dahlia and what she is going through.
Quite a few twists and turns in the story line keep things interesting.
A great start to a new series.
