ARC review: Good Girl by Sam Hall

Good Girl by Sam Hall

Amazon * Goodreads

About the book : I live in a world where people are ruled by animalistic impulses and none are more than me.

Weak, too easily influenced by others, my kind are best married off to be protected by my mate. So that’s what I’m doing, attending soirees and parties with the glittering elite, looking for the man that will complete me.
Then I meet him.
Orion Ratcliffe, heir to Ratcliffe Industries and all around bad boy, we’re shoved together by his parents in the hope of a match.
But what he wants is something else altogether.
He has three mates, some of the biggest, baddest men in town, each more beautiful than the next. The last thing he needs is another, more socially acceptable partner. So in exchange for my help in deflecting his parents’ attentions, he’ll Bridgerton the situation, squiring me about town, drawing other men’s eyes, helping me find The One.
So why is it their gaze I feel on me the most, tracking my every movement? All in the name of protection, of course.
Society wants me to be a good girl. They don’t want another mate.
But fate? She has completely different ideas about our futures.
Author note: Does not included shifters. May sound like a historical romance, but its contemporary! 18+ This book is a standalone, so no cliffhanger with the potential of other interconnected books with other FMCs

Are you freaking serious right now?

This was Sam Hall’s first go at doing an Omegaverse and I thinks it’s completely unfair that she is just so in tune with the trope straight out of the gate.

Good Girl focuses on the relationship between Cyn and all the people in her life. It touches on some mental illness in such a way it doesn’t feel forced nor does it leave you feeling uncomfortable after reading it like the subject sometimes does.

Cyn is a really amazing character. Starting of the book as a rather slight character having trouble standing up for herself and still struggling to come to terms with her designation and some past experiences and ends the book an amazing woman who know ls who she is, what she wants and sets about getting it.

This book is also filled with a delightful amount of mm action – not just for the smut factor but also for beautiful relationship between the men. I absolutely adore a well written RH where there is so much love between the characters that even the men get to share in it.

And if amazing characters, satisfactory character development, and yummy man on man action isn’t enough to grab you then the story line just might. This is a standalone with a HEA in the end but we definitely don’t have all happy all the way and our men take Cyn on quite a Rollercoaster ride of emotions before they get their drive off into the sunset.

I cannot share just how in love I was with this book.
